Here’s my second indivual assignment.
The book certainly opens up your eyes towards how different people tackle change and I could not help but analyze the recent uproar against our “market competition” from a perspective of tackling change. Instead of adapting to the new environment and search for alternatives to “get more views” some people try to analyze why others have more hits and have a hard time accepting this fact. This would be charachterized by the Hem charachter in John Spencer’s book who simply refuses to adapt to change. Totally off topic, but anyways, the book has opened up my eyes to some extent and certainly added a new way of looking at how people tackle change.

… I have to continue to write about the film. Today at the lecture in “Ekonomi och Ledarskap i Teknikintensiv verksamhet” our teacher (cannot remeber the name) totally agreed on the concusion we came up with in the film. She first drew paralells between McGregor’s theories, and did thereafter connect it to the situation of today (she didn’t express herself with the term Generation Y but meant that the new employees are more in the theory Y direction). Interesting. Maybe we should send her the link…
Finishing my second assigment, should be ready any minute
Try searching on “management through surveillance” on Google. It’s unbelieveable that the first number of hits actually are links to bloggs/forums where our film is debated. Success
Our efforts to market our film seem to be working! 1184 hits on YouTube less than 24 hours after it was uploaded, that must be worth something. And 15 top ratings already! Calle, really impressive that you managed to make our film the very top post on www.videofeber.se. I will keep on working on getting more hits through my secret communication channel…
